Cosy Pornic Pornic · Loire-Atlantique

Practical information

Everything you need before you arrive: getting here, parking, timings and the questions guests ask most.

Getting to Pornic

By car
From Nantes, allow around 50 minutes (about 50 km) via the D751 then the D213. From Paris, allow 4.5 to 5 hours. The studio is right in the centre: follow “Pornic centre / le port”, and do the rest on foot.
By train
The Nantes-Pornic regional line takes roughly an hour, with several return trips a day. Pornic station is less than a 10-minute walk from the studio, so you can absolutely come without a car.
By plane
Nantes Atlantique airport is about a 45-minute drive away. Car hire, taxi, or shuttle plus train depending on your timings.
Once you are here
The old harbour, the shops, the market, the casino and the first beaches are all walkable from the studio. The coastal path that follows the whole shoreline starts a few minutes away.

Parking

Street parking
The neighbourhood offers free parking on the surrounding streets, plus paid spaces closer to the centre. Do check the signs on site: some zones are time-limited, especially in high season.
The owner’s tip
In July and August, and on sunny weekends, park a little away from the harbour rather than circling: a few hundred metres is usually enough to find a space, and everything is walkable from there.

Check-in and check-out

Arrival
From 3:00 pm, entirely self-service. The studio has a keypad smart lock: you receive your personal code before arrival, so there is no meeting and no keys to collect. A late arrival is not a problem.
Departure
Before 11:00 am. Simply close the door behind you, we take care of the rest.
Getting inside
The studio is on the first floor, reached by stairs (the building has no lift). Please keep noise down in the common areas, particularly late at night.

Frequently asked questions

Can I arrive late in the evening?

Yes. The studio has a keypad smart lock, so you can come in whenever suits you, including after 10 pm, without meeting anyone and without collecting keys.

Can I book for a single night?

Yes, in most cases. It is precisely why we chose a studio over a large apartment: in Pornic, many stays last one or two nights. The live calendar shows the durations actually available.

Is there parking?

The studio has no private space, but the area offers free street parking and paid car parks nearby. In peak season, park a few streets uphill: it is far easier.

Is the studio accessible without stairs?

No. It is on the first floor of a building with no lift, so access is by stairs. Write to us if that could be an issue and we will tell you frankly whether the studio suits you.

Are bed linen and towels provided?

Yes, bed linen and towels are provided and included in the rate. The bed is made when you arrive.

How many people can the studio sleep?

Two, in a queen-size bed. The studio is designed for a couple, a business traveller, or a solo guest who wants some room.

Can I really cook here?

Yes, and that is one of the big advantages over a hotel room: hob, fridge with freezer, microwave, dishwasher, espresso machine, kettle, toaster, full crockery and wine glasses.

Are pets allowed?

No, the studio does not accept pets. It is a small space, occupied all year round and sometimes by guests with allergies: we would rather be clear than spring a bad surprise on arrival.

Is Wi-Fi included?

Yes, Wi-Fi is available throughout the studio, with a table corner suitable for working. Credentials are sent to you before arrival.

Is booking direct better than using a platform?

Yes. Booking through this site means no platform commission and no service fees: the rate is the same for us and better for you, and you deal directly with the owner.
